Nintendo has recently confirmed that it will be holding its Nintendo Direct showcase in June 2024 which will give us a look at what Nintendo is planning to release for the Switch in the latter half of this year.
This will hopefully offset what is looking to be a fairly quiet year for the Switch, with only two first-party games known to the public.
Both Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be released on May 23 and June 27, respectively. Nintendo has yet to announce any more releases for this year. In a report, Nintendo also confirmed that the Direct showcase for 2024 will not feature any information on the Switch 2 as of yet. The Nintendo president acknowledged that they plan to reveal the Switch 2 by the end of this fiscal year.

Still, there might be some good news for Switch fans. The ESRB recently posted a rating for a game called the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, so its release is probably coming soon while fans of Metroid games are still waiting for any news about Metroid Prime 4.
But, no matter what Nintendo has planned, only time will tell.
